SQL DBD represents an advanced SQL Server optimization solution designed to help database administrators (DBAs) and database developers improve database performance by automatically identifying and eliminating fragmentation within SQL Server Master Database Files (MDF) and indexes. While index fragmentation is widely monitored, physical fragmentation of the MDF is often overlooked although it can significantly degrade query performance.
